Taiwanese hardware giant MSI announces their new 17" gaming laptop, the GX733.
MSI prepares to launch a new, AMD Turion based gaming laptop named GX733.
This gaming laptop's monitor, as with most other gaming laptops, is 17" and can be cranked up to a 1920x1200 resolution.
The dimensions are 395 x 278 x 26.5~35 millimeters, and this unit has a weight of 3.2 kg - not too bad.
As for the stuff that actually power this babe - the processor is an AMD Turion X2, which can be overclocked with a Turbo button as with all other laptops from the MSI GX series.
The graphics card of choice is the ATI Mobility Radeon HD4670 with 512 MB of RAM.
Predictably, the unit has 4 GB's of system RAM.
As for optical drives, the HDD will be up to 500 GB; and the high resolution support of GX733's monitor doesn't go to waste - this unit can be bought with an Blu-ray drive.
As for other stuff - we're talking about a 2 MPixels webcam, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, 4-in-1 card reader and optional Bluetooth connection. Also, HDMI output and an optional eSATA/USB combo port will be available.
The launch date and the MSRP of this unit is not clear yet - stay tuned.
