InFocus unveils a monstrous 55-inch HD tablet

Mondopad, a 55inch tablet by Infocus has recently been released, which is specialized for Video conferencing

Recently, InFocus unveils their giant 55inch HD tablet called the Mondopad, which combines the intuitive touch collaboration application with cloud based video conferencing. This device has been offered at a good price and is capable of providing a better service related to business as well as educational purposes.

This device along with Vidtel, a cloud video conferencing service provider, allows the users to make a high quality video conferencing more easily just like making a phone call. This will be different from earlier ways of video conferencing and is as simple as popular free-of-charge consumer video conferencing application like Google Chat. However, it will also be capable of holding conferences for enterprise Telepresence systems from Polycom and Cisco.

The Mondopad has a 55inch screen which is capable of providing resolution of up to 1920x1080 pixels. Its LCD display will provide a full 1080p HD video and is designed for multi-touch and comprehensive whiteboard functionality. It also specializes in a 720p HD camera for aiding the Video conferencing and even a sound bar designed to improve the audio/video quality.

The multi-touch display provides works with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, JPGs and more. Its very handy even for presentations, whiteboard and annotation applications, and even includes a complete set of writing and drawing tools. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mark Perini, InFocus VP/GN visual solutions, says that Mondopad offers a future proof collaboration solution with none of the expense, setup, maintenance or updates. He also believes that it will be a solution for small business to enterprises as it is a one-in-all collaboration solution at a low price.
