The Vivo S12 is a great mid-range phone that brings exceptional features, and there’s also a sibling known as Vivo S12 Pro. Both of them are released in December 2021 back to back, yet the Vivo S12 price is around $440 (Rs 32,999 in India). The primary specs and features are good in some aspects while in some they are disappointing. The display section would disappoint as it offers a 6.44-inches AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR 10+ content support. But the hardware section provides standard processing power MediaTek MT6891Z Dimensity 1100 5G chipset. As for the software rendering, the Android 11 based Origin OS Ocean custom layering interface is present. In terms of storage, you are getting an ample 256GB internal storage with 8GB and 12GB RAM support, without secondary storage unit. On the other hand, the camera section offers a triple camera setup that features a 108MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro. With this setup, you can record up to 4K videos with gyro-EIS stabilization.
