Tipster outs purported Alder Lake Pentium and Celeron G6900 and G7400 processors

Tipster @momomo_us recently shared what looks to be two store listings from Canada for the Pentium Gold G7400 and the Celeron G6900. Both of these are as-yet unannounced Intel budget CPUs. The tipster didn't confirm the architecture being used here, but it is possible that one or both of these parts are entry-level Alder Lake silicon. 

During the Alder Lake launch, Intel rolled out their flagship i9-12900K, the i7-12700K, and the midrange i5-12600K. We have yet to see budget Alder Lake parts, however. 

The Pentium G7400 in the listing looks particularly interesting, with 6MB of cache and a 3.7 GHz base clock. Most Pentium and Celeron parts lack turbo boosting, meaning that this CPU will stay right at 3.7 GHz. The low clock speed and cache, as well as the likely lower core count imply a significant gap between this part and its higher-end Alder Lake siblings.

However, if Intel is utilizing Golden Cove P cores here instead of Gracemont, the IPC gains mean that the Pentium could fare well in comparison to previous-gen mobile i3s and i5s. If this is indeed an entry-level Alder Lake CPU, it'll be interesting to see the G7400 in something like the Surface Go.
