CES 2013 | NVIDIA GeForce GT 730M Benchmarks

Teaser
NVIDIA has just taken the wraps off their new GeForce GT730M, and we've got the benchmarks all laid out

NVIDIA has been busy at CES this year, having introduced their new Tegra 4 processor as well as unveiling their own mobile console, Project Shield. Of ourse, that isn't all the company has to offer, as they've also released the new GeForce GT730M, which is similar to the GT645M but with higher clock rates.

Based on the Kepler architecture, the 730M supports DirectX 11.1 and features a total of 384 shader cores thanks to a pair of SMX shader blocks. The GPU also supports the use of up to 4 displays simultaneously and can transmit HD-audio codecs over HDMI.

Using the 3DMark Vantage benchmark, the 730M came in ahead of the Quadro 2000M and right behind AMD's Radeon HD7690M XT. In addition, the GT730M managed to adequately handle most of the newest PC games, although it did hiccup slightly with the highest settings on newer titles such as Hitman Absolution and Far Cry 3.

For a further look at the GeForce GT730M check out our complete benchmark of the GPU, including framerates for the newest games and benchmark scores.
