Lenovo Teaser: ZUK Edge will start selling tomorrow on JD
Lenovo has decided to start selling the ZUK Edge without officially announcing it in advance. Instead it will be available to buy on Chinese online merchant Jingdong starting tomorrow.
Lenovo has posted phone background images to tease the imminent availability of the ZUK Edge starting tomorrow. Instead of officially announcing it during a press conference, the phone will start to be available to buy directly from Jingdong (JD.com), a popular Chinese online merchant. Lenovo has started teasing the phone by leaking pictures through Lenovo's VP Weibo page weeks ago.
The ZUK Edge might be interesting for some because of its slim bezels, not only at the sides but also above and below the screen. It comes with a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4 of RAM and 64 GB of storage and might be one of the cheapest phones with that processor, at least in China where it might be sold for less than $393. The battery is said to carry a 3.000 mAh charge, there will be black and white versions. ZUK may have decided to not sell the ZUK Edge in the US or Europe at this point in time.
