Intel Core i9-13900KS specifications and price appear in early listings alongside locked Raptor Lake SKUs

It is expected that Intel will release new 13^th gen “Raptor Lake” SKUs in the upcoming months. First spotted by @momomo_us on Twitter, early product listings from PC-Canada seem to confirm that Intel is getting ready to launch cheaper Raptor Lake chips as well as a powerful Core i9-13900KS. Although the listings don’t provide detailed hardware information, we can see pricing, core counts, cache sizes, and boost clocks of the CPUs.

Starting with the Core i9-13900KS, the CPU can allegedly boost up to 6 GHz. Intel had previously confirmed that a Raptor Lake SKU can boost up to 6 GHz without specifying a name for the chip. So, it would appear that the mystery processor could be the Intel Core i9-13900KS. Furthermore, the CPU will reportedly have 24 cores and 36 MB of cache matching the Core i9-13900K.

The Core i9-13900KS is listed with a price of CA$971.99 (US$723.72), an increase of around 22% vs the Core i9-13900K. The pricing uplift is in line with the initial MSRP of the Core i9-12900KS (US$739) which was a 25% bump over the launch price of the Core i9-12900K (US$589).

In addition to the Core i9-13900KS, PC-Canada also lists the unannounced locked Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9 CPUs. But, as VideoCardz notes, the prices for these chips appear to be intentionally false as they are, in many instances, more than their K-series counterparts.

Per the retailer, the Core i3-13100 and Core i3-13100F will have 4 cores, 12 MB of cache, and a boost clock of 4.5 GHz. Unlike the Core i3-13100/F, the Core i5-13400F and the Core i5-13400 will apparently have 10 cores, 6 more than their predecessor the Core i5-12400/F. Both CPUs could have a 4.6 GHz boost clock and 20 MB of cache.

Finally, PC-Canada also has a product listing for a 14-core Core i5-13500 with 24 MB of cache and a boost frequency of 4.8 GHz. Moving on to the upcoming Raptor Lake Core i7 SKUs, we have the Core i7-13700F and the Core i7-13700 both of which can reportedly boost up to 5.2 GHz and come with 16 cores and 30 MB of cache. There are also Core i9-13900/F processors on display with 24 cores, boost clocks of 5.6 GHz, and a cache size of 36 MB.

As is the case with preliminary product listings, take everything with a grain of salt, especially the prices. Such early price tags are often nothing more than just placeholders.
