DLI releases its latest DLI 9000 Rugged Mobile Tablet along with its 5-in-1 payment module option

The DLI 9000 a Rugged Mobile Tablet, from DLI, one of the leading manufacturers of in vehicle computers and mobile POS devices has recently been released. They have also released a 5 in 1 mobile payment module option along with it.

This 5-in-1 payment module mainly includes a magstripe, debit pin pad, contactless payment (NFC), EMV and barcode scanning. This new release is expected to become a complete solution to capture the customers and complete the sale.

As this tablet is built on standard PC architecture it also enables the users to deploy the same POS applications that are on the fixed station terminals bridging the gap among the users and the customers. It is made further flexible in terms of management and maintenance by offering the OS images of the platforms of Windows and Android and even OPOS/JPOS compliant drivers.

Other key features of the DLI 9000 rugged tablet include choice of OS between Windows 7 pro or Ultimate, Windows embedded 7, Windows Embedded POS Ready 7 & Android 4.0 ICS. It also has a multiple of radio communications as Wi-Fi a/b/g/n radio, Gobi 3000 cellular independence, Bluetooth, GPS capabilities. It also has a variety of ports like the HDMI, USB, I/O and RF through connections.

This device is designed with an impact resistant IP54 enclosure, and is also light in weight. It has a 9.7 inch indoor/outdoor LCD touchscreen. With the entire five in one payment mode the device is expected to bring a revolution in the retail market with the use of this tablet. This device is expected to be made available for delivery to the users and resellers by the end of the second quarter.
