The Geekbench entry for a Samsung device known as SM-A307FN suggests that the upcoming Galaxy A30s could be very similar to the Galaxy A30. The listing on the popular benchmark database reveals the same Exynos 7904 processor and 3 GB of memory, but a 4 GB version could surface in the coming days as well.

When it comes to low-end and mid-range models, Samsung has an impressive lineup of products already available. However, to make the choice even more confusing for a potential buyer, the multinational tech giant based in South Korea is planning to add even more mid-range models that often end up being very similar to their siblings.

One of the next such devices could be the Galaxy A30s, which has been allegedly spotted on Geekbench. The model name of the handset listed on the website of the popular benchmark is SM-A307FN and its specs and features include the same octa-core 14 nm Exynos 7904 processor used in the Galaxy A30, 3 GB of memory, and Android 9.0 Pie-based firmware (with One UI on top, most likely). As it often happens with such listings, a 4 GB variant might show up in the coming days as well.

Since we are talking about a model with the same processor, the performance of the Galaxy A30s is in line with what one would expect from its sibling. Remains to see if it will also come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, a dual camera on the back, and a generous 4,000 mAh battery.

All the above should be taken with a grain of salt, but since the Geekbench listing is no longer available right now, it would not be surprising to see the Galaxy A30s being silently introduced by Samsung in a few days.
