MSI just announced a whole bunch of upgrades to both its consumer and gaming laptop lineups during CES 2026 in Las Vegas. We got some hands-on time with their new premium Prestige notebooks, betting on Intel Panther Lake; the completely refreshed Stealth 16 for creators who like to game; and the (probably) fastest laptop of 2026, the new Raider 16 MAX HX.

Intel finally took the wraps off their next mainstream architecture, and we got some early insights into what laptops will be available with Core Ultra Series 3, aka Panther Lake, and what you can expect when it comes to gaming performance.

The all-new MSI Raider 16 MX HX can deliver up to 300W to the latest Intel HX CPUs and up to an RTX 5090! And all that in what I would call a still relatively compact chassis! While the 2024 Lenovo Legion 9 was a simply stunning laptop, it did not offer much more in terms of performance than its Legion Pro 7 counterpart, despite being A LOT more expensive. The Honour Magic8 Pro is the company's latest Android flagship, aiming to compete with the iPhone 17, the upcoming Samsung S26 Ultra, and other high-end competitors such as the Oppo Find X9 and the Vivo X300 Pro. We had the chance to test it in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and while there is not a whole lot that's new about this one, it is still a terrific phone!

The Lenovo Legion 7 follows in the footsteps of the excellent Legion Pro 7, Legion Pro 5, and our go-to "budget" recommendation, the Legion 5, and offers solid performance in a simply stunning chassis. Not everything is quite perfect though, and some of Lenovo's decision might do more harm than good!

ARC Raider is a new extraction shooter that has had many of us questioning our newfound loyalty to Battlefield 6 for about 2 weeks now. Since I had a ton of fun with the game so far, I wanted to share some performance and gameplay impressions in this new format. To give it an additional little twist, I captured this session on the Aorus Master 18 with the company's RTX 5090 eGPU, rendering the game on a 4k screen.

The Lenovo Legion Go S was the first gaming handheld to officially ship with Steam OS, alongside the original Steam Deck, of course. We had to compare it directly to its Windows sibling, and despite almost identical hardware, well, the results are quite surprising... or not, depending on your perspective!

The Razer Blade 18 for 2025 is not only one of the fastest laptops in general, but it combines impressive performance figures with class-leading build quality, a dual-mode display refreshing at up to 440 Hz, and it is also (relatively) quiet.

With the 2025 Aero X16 and the Gaming A16, Gigabyte offers two affordable options: the Aero is aimed at creators, while the A16 caters more to the gaming crowd. We had the opportunity to thoroughly test a few configurations, and the AMD Ryzen 7 and RTX 5060-equipped X16 in particular surprised us in a very positive way.

Asus updated their super sleek creator laptop, and the ProArt P16 can now be yours with up to an RTX 5090, vapour chamber cooling, and a new display. And the new 4K 120Hz VRR-capable display, which apparently reaches up to 1600 Nits, might very well be one of the best laptop displays on the market right now.

The Lenovo Go is back with its second version, and is setting out to compete with the Asus ROG XBox Ally X and MSI's Claw 8. Considering the detachable controller and 144 Hz OLED with VRR capabilities, the massive 8.8" Windows-based handheld already has a lot going for it.

HP is back, and the all-new Omen Max 16 not only looks incredibly clean (for a gaming laptop) but also backs it up with solid results in our performance testing. We have been able to test both the RTX 5080 IPS display variant and the high-end SKU, betting on a 5090 and a 240 Hz OLED.

As a passionate Gamer, Gamescom, one of the world's biggest events for gaming and the gaming lifestyle, is always something to look forward to. For 2025, I took you with me to everything I was allowed to test and see for myself, and I will also walk you through my setup that made our coverage possible.

Lenovo's LOQ-series marks their most affordable offering into the world of gaming laptops, and while the LOQ 15 is not a particularly bad laptop, for just a little bit more, you can already get the excellent Legion 5. So does the difference and the prospect of sales still make the RTX 5060 laptop a viable option, if you are on a tighter budget?

HP's all-new 14" workstation is so far the only laptop we have been able to test, betting on AMD's Strix Halo silicon, offering an integrated GPU performing on the level of dedicated solutions.

It is once again time for AMD, Intel and Qualcomm to get Head-to-Head with each other, and today we let the all-new Lenovo ThinkPad T14s powered by Intel's Lunar Lake silicon, compete with its siblings. So let us see which CPU is the best fit for one of the most flexible business laptops you can get right now in mid-2025.

The mobile RTX 5070 Ti is pretty much the sweet spot in Nvidia's laptop line-up when it comes to price and performance. That said, some notebooks with the new GPU remain quite expensive, but the MSI Vector 16HX is one of the most affordable options available.

The Razer Blade 16, in its Nvidia RTX 5090 config, offered some impressive performance results in a super slim package, but it has also been incredibly expensive. We got our hands on an RTX 5080 config, and at around 1000 bucks less, for most users, this would be the much better deal, should you be looking for a powerful, extremely well-made, thin & light performance laptop

Razer's latest (gaming-)headset, the updated Blackshark V3 Pro, might look similar to their predecessors, but internally, pretty much everything, from the much better sounds to the even better microphone, all the way to the inclusion of active noise cancelling, has been updated, added to, or improved. This turns a pair of wireless headphones aimed at gamers into pretty much the perfect headset for (almost) everything.

With the ROG Scar 16, Asus has scaled down the already excellent 18" version into a much more portable form, all while maintaining the same "clean" design, fantastic Mini-LED display, great port selection, and impressive performance. However, there is also the Strix G16, which features a standard IPS panel but generally shares the same qualities. In its RTX 5080 configuration, it once again raises the value question compared to RTX 5090 laptops.
