Fujitsu has announced the latest 3 additions to its FUTRO line of thin clients. They also have freshly-launched Intel chipsets: Gemini Lake Refresh processors named as the Pentium Silver J5040, Celeron J4125 and Celeron J4025. The highest-end of these new clients also has PalmSecure authentication.

Fujitsu's latest 3 FUTRO thin-client devices are also novel in the sense that they run on CPUs formerly known as those of the Gemini Lake Refresh series. Their official product names are the Intel Pentium Silver J5040, Celeron J4125 and Celeron J4025, which power the FUTRO Q9010, S7010 and S5010 respectively. The first of these also integrate UHD Graphics 605, which have a base clock of 250MHz but can go up to 800MHz, whereas the remainder support their 250-750MHz 600 counterparts.

The Pentium Silver J5040 is a quad-core chipset that runs at 2.0 to 3.2 GHz, whereas the Celeron J4125 also has 4 cores and goes at 2.0-2.7 GHz. The second new Celeron, on the other hand, is dual-core and is clocked at 2.0-2.9 GHz. Therefore, the FUTRO Q9010 is decidedly the highest-end of these new devices.

Its chassis is equipped with audio lines-in and -out; frontal headphone and mic jacks; 3 USB type C rear 3.1 Gen1 ports; up to 7 USB type A ports; 2 serial (RS-232) ports; 1 RJ-45 ports; 2 DP1.2a DisplayPorts and 2 PS/2 ports, whereas the other 2 have a subset of this I/O. Interestingly, the Q9010 also features PalmSecure  palm-vein authentication technology, which works along the same lines as the Hand ID feature found in the LG G8 ThinQ.
