The Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2370 is an entry level dual-core processor that was announced in 2008. It is based on the old Merom core with some deactivated features (power saving, Virtualization). Due to the low clock rate, the slow FSB, and the small level 2 cache, the performance is only suited for non-demanding tasks.
The Intel Pentium T3400 is an entry-level dual core processor based on the old Merom core. Compared to Core 2 Duo CPUs, the Pentium brand offers less level 2 cache and some reduced power saving functions. Still the Pentium offers more power saving as a Celeron counterpart. Hardware Virtualization is also deactivated in the core.
