The Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 MSM8660 is an entry level SoC for smartphones and tablets (mostly Android based). It contains two Scorpion cores (enhanced ARM Cortex-A8) clocked at up to 1.7 GHz, a Adreno 220 graphics card and radio elements (including CDMA2000, which is the difference to the MSM8260).
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 is an entry-level ARM-SoC for Android smartphones and tablets. It offers four Cortex-A7 cores clocked at up to 1.2 GHz (Quad-Core) as well as an Adreno 305 graphics card at 450 MHz. Furthermore, a HSPA+/LTE radio is integrated in the SoC, which is manufactured in a 28-nanometer LP process.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8277 is a mid-range SoC for smartphones and tablets (mostly Android based). It contains two Krait (improved ARM Cortex-A9) CPU cores at 1.0 GHz and a Adreno 305 graphics card. A memory controller and radio elements (excluding LTE) are also included. The chip is produced in 28nm LP process at TSMC.
