Improved OLED. Asus updates its slim 16-inch Zenbook S16 with new AMD Gorgon Point CPUs and an OLED touchscreen. The result is an extremely stylish and high-quality everyday computer with good performance and long battery life.

Portable livestreaming. The OneOdio Solocaster offers podcasters and livestreamers a capable audio mixer that can be used to make broadcasts from their laptops in remote locations. Gamers can use it to change their voices while gaming on their PlayStations.

GeForce RTX 4050 or Arc B390? The XPS series has gone through some bumps on the road, but the latest Panther Lake XPS 14 puts the family back on track to be a much easier recommendation than any recent predecessor.

Lightweight, compact and affordable. The Chuwi CoreBook Air with AMD Ryzen 5 6600H offers a balanced mix of mobility, everyday performance, and a matte IPS display that is well suited for longer work sessions. In combination with 16 GB of RAM and an NVMe SSD, the result is a compact overall package that is primarily aimed at budget-oriented users who are looking for a lightweight notebook for office, web, and multimedia.

A slow RTX 5080 and an insufficient power supply. The ThinkPad T16g is a powerful mobile workstation from Lenovo that uses regular GeForce GPUs instead of RTX PRO GPUs. The new model (design-wise identical to the ThinkPad P16 Gen 3) scores points for its feature set, but possesses weaknesses, especially in terms of performance.

Premiere for the Core Ultra X9 388H & Arc B390. Asus has redesigned its dual-screen ZenBook Duo convertible for 2026, making it better in multiple respects. These include the new Intel Panther Lake processor with more efficient CPU cores and a so much faster iGPU that can just about make the GeForce RTX 4050 irrelevant. It's like a 1 kg gaming laptop. Asus and Intel are starting off the year strong with the debut of the Core Ultra X7 358H. Although technically a business-oriented laptop, both graphics performance and performance-per-watt are insane for a 14-inch form factor.

Zen 5 Refresh. AMD is only cautiously updating its mobile processors for 2026. Apart from a slightly higher clock rate, support for faster RAM, and faster NPUs, the new Gorgon Point CPUs do not differ from last year's Strix Point models, so Zen 5 cores and the familiar RDNA 3.5 iGPUs are still used.

AMDmazing Deal. Update | In times of rising prices, more affordable laptops become more interesting for more people. The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 6 AMD is such a device. This business laptop has an overall lower price, enabling buyers to get more memory for less money compared with more expensive models.

Affordable office laptop with AMD Zen 4. The Tecra A65-M doesn't do anything particularly special, but its core basics are solid to be a reliable and no-frills laptop for most office tasks that don't involve the most accurate colors.

Affordable and strong? The Acer Nitro V 17 ANV17-41-R4CJ targets buyers looking for a large gaming laptop at the lowest possible price. In this short review, we examine whether performance, noise levels, and battery life hold up in everyday use and gaming and how it compares to louder, more power-hungry rivals.

Full gaming performance starting at €2,100. With the Apex 16 Max, XMG offers a gaming laptop featuring the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, a fast AMD Fire Range HX processor, and a 300 Hz Mini-LED panel. While gaming performance is excellent, battery life is unfortunately very limited.

German challenger. The XMG Core 16 VE aims to compete not only with budget gaming laptops, but also with premium models such as the Lenovo Legion 7. Read our review to find out whether it succeeds.

Some cost-cutting measures. The ThinkPad P16v Gen 3 is a mobile workstation from Lenovo. There have been savings in some areas, such as the housing materials or the graphics and cooling performance. Nevertheless, the price is more than 2,800 Euros (~$3248). In our test, we find out whether this is justified.

The Pro Plus with AMD innards. With their new Dell Pro series, Dell has finally adopted AMD CPUs for their more expensive business laptop lineup. The Dell Pro 14 Plus replaces the Dell Latitude 5000 and 7000, bringing many business features in a more affordable package than the Dell Pro Premium series.

Caught in the middle. With the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, Acer is selling a fairly thin gaming notebook with an OLED display, Core Ultra 9 275HX and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. Discover in our review whether the 16-inch model surpasses its competitors or if it's more likely to bite its teeth out.

3-year warranty and good speakers. The Asus ExpertBook PM3 is an affordable office laptop with a fast AMD Ryzen processor and advanced AI functions. Many aspects were convincing in the test, but you shouldn't expect too much from the matte IPS display.

HDR gaming at 120 Hz. With the Fusion 16, XMG now offers its first gaming laptop with an optional OLED display. But is the upgrade worth it for faster response times and HDR gaming, or is it better to stick with the IPS panel?

Optimized for long runtimes. The EliteBook 6 G1q brings Qualcomm Snapdragon and Windows ARM to mainstream businesses. It's ideal if extended runtimes and basic office tasks take priority, but app compatibility and display options remain inconsistent.

Problems with the OLED. Acer's Predator Triton 14 is a slim 14-inch gamer with an OLED touchscreen aimed at creative users and gamers. It combines an efficient Lunar Lake processor with the 110-watt GeForce RTX 5070. However, the test apparently shows weaknesses in the OLED and the fan noise.

Bird of paradise. The Nitro V14 AI stands out from the crowd of gaming laptops not just due to its color scheme but also because of its small dimensions. Find out in our review whether the performance is still convincing or whether too many compromises have to be made.

Slightly cheaper, but unfortunately much slower. The Yoga Pro 9 16 with GeForce RTX 5050 graphics is cheaper, cooler, and generally quieter than its more expensive RTX 5060 or 5070 options. Unfortunately, at almost $1800 retail, the system isn't that much less expensive than the higher-end configurations.

X1 Carbon Gen 12.5. We already tested the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13, but only the model with Intel Lunar Lake and the OLED screen. Many customers are asking: What about the Arrow Lake version with IPS display, which is often cheaper and more readily available? We have tested it, to see what the differences are.

For students and home multimedia. The OmniBook 5 16 doesn't excel in any one particular area, but it gets all the basics right to be a great starter laptop for students or users on tighter budgets.

Strix Workstation. It is the triumphant return of AMD CPUs to the ThinkPad P series: With Strix Point, Lenovo brings back the Lenovo ThinkPad P16s AMD back from the dead. The new P16s Gen 6 AMD features the AMD Ryzen AI 9 Pro HX 370, one of the most powerful Strix Point CPUs for laptops.

1500 nits OLED touchscreen! The ThinkPad P1 Gen 8 may look the same as the previous generation model, but the new tandem OLED display option can improve the HDR viewing experience tremendously for those who value it.

Is midrange Intel the way to go? The Intel configuration offers more performance over AMD that casual editors and gamers might appreciate. Benefits are otherwise minimal at best for typical browsing or word processing scenarios.

Second time is the charm. Last year, Lenovo introduced the 14.5-inch Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 with a dedicated Nvidia GPU, which also featured a large battery and dual fan cooling. The new iteration, the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 6, includes more efficient Intel Arrow Lake H CPUs and Nvidia RTX Pro Blackwell graphics.

The Acer Swift Go AI offers a good balance between performance and portability. With its OLED display, strong AMD Ryzen AI processor, and long battery life, it's well-suited for on-the-go use. Despite some limitations, it remains a compelling laptop, especially at the current price point under 1,000 euros.

Missing a key competitive edge. The latest 18-inch ZBook Fury can be configured with some of the fastest processors from Intel and Nvidia and yet it still loses out to the Dell Pro Max 18 Plus in most benchmarks. Is something causing the HP workstation to underperform?

Optimized Balanced mode. The 18-inch Asus TUF Gaming A18 with an RTX 5070 is surprisingly slim and lightweight, and even in Performance mode it stays impressively quiet — is it the perfect desktop replacement?

Controversial first-person shooter. Even though the graphics in Black Ops 7 falls short of expectations, the engine used can be very demanding, particularly when ray tracing is activated. We carried out various performance tests including using upscaling and frame generation to see how well various laptop and desktop GPUs handle Activision's latest FPS.

Premium office notebook. In the more affordable configuration of the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 16AKP10, both the Ryzen AI 5 330 and the integrated Radeon 820M make their first appearance. We compare its performance with the higher-priced models and assess whether their premium is justified.

17 hours of battery life and up to 128 GB of RAM. With the ThinkPad T16 Gen 4, Lenovo offers a high-quality business computer that has not succumbed to the slimness craze. In return, you get a good keyboard, good maintenance options, quiet cooling and excellent battery life.

One of the fastest in its category. Like the Dell Pro Max 16 Plus, the Dell Pro Max 18 Plus is packed full of unique features and some of the fast mobile processors from Intel and Nvidia. The lack of display options, however, is a notable sticking point.

iGPUs left behind? This technical test assesses hardware and GPU performance for Anno 117: Pax Romana across multiple systems, resolutions and upscaling options. The pre-release benchmark reveals striking visuals but high system demands, with smooth play requiring modern dedicated GPUs or effective upscaling.

Classic 17.3-inch display lives on. With seemingly everyone moving to 16:10 displays, the HP 17t is one of the few laptop models sticking with the tried-and-true 16:9 form factor. It's consequently one of the least expensive options for users who want a large 17.3-inch screen without breaking the bank.

Lunar Lake wonder. Intel Arrow Lake, AMD Krackan Point, Intel Lunar Lake - Lenovo has three different versions of the ThinkPad T14 Gen 6. We review one with Lunar Lake, and yet again, the platform shows why it is perfect for business laptops: Long battery life meets a low heat output and excellent system performance.

Crosshairs on target. The MSI Crosshair 16 HX AI aims to please the upper mid-range gaming crowd with its Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5070 Laptop combination, and it is able to do so for the most part. The Crosshair 16 HX AI can handle 1440p gaming and even content creation fairly well, but there some obvious compromises to keep the price in check.

Intel or AMD? With the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, the Yoga Pro 14 G10 offers a fast processor and the new 3K OLED touchscreen with 120 Hz provides excellent image quality. However, the high power limit also leads to problems.

Better Than Ever, Yet Business as Usual. Every year, a new LG Gram arrives without significant changes to its design. Equipped with Lunar Lake, a large battery, and quiet dual fans, the current Gram is certainly compelling. However, it no longer distinctly stands out from the crowd, as other manufacturers now also offer a solid lineup of lightweight laptops.

Entry-level gaming. If you are looking for a gaming laptop that with a modern graphics card that doesn't break the bank, the Acer Nitro V 16 AI might just fit the bill. We took a detailed look at the 16-inch model featuring the AMD Ryzen 5 240 and the RTX 5050 Laptop GPU and explain its strengths and weaknesses in this review.

MSI's answer to the Razer Blade 18. The Stealth 18 takes almost everything we love about the Titan 18 including a Core Ultra 9 processor, GeForce RTX 5090 graphics, and a 4K UHD mini-LED display all in a significantly smaller form factor. Noise levels and temperatures, however, could certainly use some improvement.

Nvidia RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell debut. The Dell Pro Max 16 Plus is a unique workstation with its DGFF card, CAMM2 RAM, 4K UHD 120 Hz OLED touchscreen, and modular USB-C ports. Do the fancy features translate to faster performance?

High-end computer needed? Borderlands 4 turns out to be a fun loot shooter, but it is so demanding when it comes to your hardware that the use of upscaling tech is almost unavoidable.

Core Ultra 7 265U performance debut. The EliteBook 8 Flip G1i 13 is one of the slimmest and most efficient 13-inch convertibles we've had the pleasure of testing. Its keyboard in particular feels surprisingly spacious despite the small form factor.

Starting over with G1. The EliteBook 8 G1a 16 represents a fresh start over last year's EliteBook 865 G10. In addition to the revised naming convention, the new model is thinner than before with the latest AMD Zen 5 PRO options for business users.

Subnotebook with upgradeable RAM. The Blitz Ultra 2 14 is one of the very few 14-inch laptops with support for two M.2 2280 SSDs and two removable DDR5 SODIMM modules for a total of up to 128 GB of memory. In return, it's slightly heavier than other models in the size category.

A question of price. The Medion Erazer Scout 17 E1 is the first notebook based on the GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop to land in our editorial office. Our review tests the RTX 5050 Laptop to find out how the new lower mid-range Blackwell GPU performs against the RTX 5060 and RTX 5070, and what the 17-incher is generally capable of.

Bigger doesn't mean more expensive. MSI has more 18-inch gaming laptops to choose from than most competitors, but not everyone is willing to shell out for GeForce RTX 5090 graphics or a 4K display. The Crosshair 18 HX features more balanced specifications for a target range price of well under $2000.

A sub-€500 surprise: With the Aspire Go 15-51P, Acer has a Windows 11 laptop on offer that manages to stay affordable while still delivering a well-rounded package. Thanks to a speedy Core i5 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and impressive battery life, the deal looks almost too good to be true.

1600 nits OLED only on paper. Honor updates its slim and light MagicBook Art 14 with Intel's Arrow Lake processors as well as a new OLED screen, that is supposed to reach up to 1600 nits. The keyboard was improved as well, and the magnetic webcam is still very practical.

GeForce RTX 5060 for casual gamers. For $1100, users get a great 120 Hz IPS display with full sRGB colors and a respectable GeForce RTX 5060 GPU. One specific drawback, however, may turn off some mainstream or competitive gamers.

Plenty of ports and good maintenance options. The Linux ultrabook Tuxedo InfinityBook Pro 14 is now available with AMD Zen 5 processors and upgradeable RAM. In addition to good maintenance options and numerous ports, the 120 Hz screen is now a bit brighter.

The fastest ARM Chromebook yet. For years, the processor question in high-performance Chromebooks had a simple answer. Now, MediaTek is crashing the party with its new Kompanio Ultra 910. The Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14 illustrates the readiness of this new ARM chip to compete with Intel and AMD.

x86 budget laptop killer. With the Snapdragon X processor, Qualcomm wants to heat up the competition in the budget segment. A laptop with this chip: the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15Q8X10. The Oryon CPU really shows its strengths here, even if there certainly are some compromises to this budget laptop.

Business convertible with stylus & 5G. Lenovo has a new business convertible called the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1. It offers plenty of business features as well as 5G connectivity, but the combination of an Intel Arrow Lake processor with low power limits, comparatively thick chassis, and soldered RAM raises questions.

The Glacier LW 8K L is the lightest mouse Chilkey has made to date. Despite that, it is backed to suppor high-end wireless specs, an 8K polling rate via its wireless dongle included. It is also rated to work as an 8K Bluetooth and a USB-C peripheral, and to deliver solid ergonomics despite its ultra-low-weight build. The mouse also stands out with its own integrated active display.

More is currently not possible. With the Key 18 Pro, Schenker has a mobile workstation on offer that is aimed at enthusiasts and can be configured extensively. We tested the top model with the Core Ultra 9 275HX, the RTX 5090 laptop, 256 GB RAM and 28 TB SSD storage. There is also PCIe 5.0, Thunderbolt 5 & two network connections.

Transform and roll out. Lenovo has had some interesting laptop designs including ones with E-Ink, folding tablets, and dual-boot detachables with both x86 and ARM processors. The ThinkBook Plus Rollable, however, definitely takes the cake for being the most useful and practical thus far.

Core Ultra 9 with 115 W GeForce RTX graphics. Unlike the Alienware Area-51 behemoth, the Alienware 16X Aurora cuts out a lot of the RGB features and fancy Gorilla Glass for a more affordable and streamlined gaming machine. Nonetheless, we find the 240 Hz display and Core Ultra 9 CPU to be more impressive than the GeForce RTX 5070 GPU.

A marathon runner in a business suit Acer's new TravelMate P6 is feather-light, mostly silent, and its battery life is outstanding. It's a notebook that gets through several workdays without a single thought spared for the charging cable, all while the compact business laptop delivers respectable performance.

Multi-core master. With the Crosshair A17 HX, MSI is selling an exciting gaming notebook that combines an extremely fast AMD CPU (Zen 4) and an Nvidia GPU from the Blackwell generation. We tested this interesting mix in detail and compared it with the Intel competition.

An expensive pleasure. Although the Aorus Elite 16 only features an RTX 5070, the 16-inch model is as costly as some RTX 5070 Ti laptops. We take a closer look at the gaming machine and compare various aspects with several competitors.
