AMD Radeon R9 M395

The AMD Radeon R9 M395 is a high-end mobile graphics card that can be found in the 2015 iMac 5K 27-inch. It offers 1792 shader cores (28 compute cores) clocked at 834 MHz. The 2 GB GDDR5 dedicated graphics memory is connected with a 256 Bit bus at 1365 (= 5460 effective) MHz.

The performance should be between the older Radeon R9 M295X and the Desktop Radeon R7 370. Therefore, demanding Windows games like Fallout 4 or Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 should run in maximum details at 1920x1080 (with no headroom).

AMD Radeon R9 M395X

The AMD Radeon R9 M395X is a mobile high-end graphics card based on the Tonga chip (3rd generation of GCN). It uses all of the 2048 shader cores (32 compute units) as the previous generation R9 M295X but features a slightly higher core clock (+60 MHz). Therefore, the performance should be on a level with the R9 M295X (see for benchmarks).

AMD Radeon R9 M385

The AMD Radeon R9 M385 is a mid-range notebook graphics card for laptops. It features a GCN (Graphics Core Next) based architecture and is manufactured in 28nm. Up to now only a GFXBench 3.1 OpenGL benchmarks leaked.

The most likely a bit slower Radeon R9 M380 features 12 compute cores clocked at 1 GHz and a GDDR5 memory controller. According to the naming, the performance should be quite similar to it.
