1st – HP EliteBook 845 G10 5Z4X0ES (R7 7840U, Radeon 780M)
Having already tested the top version of the new EliteBook 845 G10 for over €2,000, we now have an exciting configuration with the low-power display and the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U. Thanks to lower power limits, this configuration remains much quieter when working. The campus version is already available for 999 euros.
With the AMD Phoenix U processor, the EliteBook 845 G10 is even better in everyday use, as the fan is barely audible. The low-power display offers decent image quality and provides a clear advantage in terms of battery life. The special campus model in particular is the absolute price-performance hammer for 999 euros.
The EliteBook 845 G10 is now configurable via HP's official online store, starting at $2,007.

2nd – HP EliteBook 645 G9 (R7 5825U, RX Vega 8)
Compact and light at 14 inches and just under 1.4 kg, independent of fast WLAN thanks to LTE connectivity, and solid performance for everyday work - that is what the HP EliteBook 645 G9 offers.
HP EliteBook 645 G9 impresses in many aspects in the test. It presents itself as an elegant and compact, as well as quite light and robust business notebook, which is also good for traveling. Among other things, the good and sufficiently bright display for outdoor use contributes to that.
In the USA, users can directly order the HP EliteBook 645 G9 on HP's online shop. Otherwise, Amazon also lists it for around $739.

3rd – Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14 (R7 7735HS, Radeon 680M)
"The almost perfect ultrabook with AMD Zen3+" was our author's headline in the review. With the Yoga Pro 7 14, Lenovo presents us with a new ultrabook with a 14-inch display that is available in different configurations. Customers can choose between AMD and Intel processors as well as dedicated graphics cards from Nvidia including the current mid-range GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPU. Together with the great keyboard and good IPS display, this is one of the best compact notebooks currently available.
The processor is already a year old, but the performance is still very good. The new Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 14 offers an extremely good overall package with a good screen, great keyboard and long battery runtimes. At the same time, the price-performance ratio is also fully convincing and it is currently certainly one of the best Ultrabooks on the market, which we honor with our Editors Choice Award.
Inn North America, the device is also known as the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 and is expected to available in July 2023. Interested users can keep tabs on stores like Amazon, Newegg, and Best Buy and wait for the device to appear here.

4th – Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga G4 (R5 7530U, RX Vega 7)
As the only AMD ThinkPad convertible, the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 4 is a unique model. At the same time, as an L-series model, a budget series for institutional customers, it is not a high-end model. Advantage AMD: The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 4 remains almost completely silent while still not delivering sub-par performance. In this respect, it shows how efficient even the technically outdated Ryzen 7030U series can still be nowadays. At the same time, the notebook has great input devices as well as good connectivity, which is typical for ThinkPads. The maintainability is even better than in many more expensive laptops with the exchangeable keyboard.
The inexpensive convertible with AMD: Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 4 is especially suitable for the education market with its integrated stylus.
Our review device is a special model for students and teachers and costs $930. The regular price is $1,010. With an eight-core CPU, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD, you have to calculate about $190 more.
The reviewed model of the Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga G4 costs roughly €840 (~$890) as a special education model from Campuspoint.

5th – Lenovo ThinkPad L14 G4 (R5 7530U, RX Vega 7)
In the ThinkPad world, the ThinkPad L series is the entry level business series. This means that it is a laptop series for corporate customers that is highly cost-optimized and offers a low entry price. Backlight keyboards, IPS displays, these features were not originally available in Lenovo's low-priced ThinkPad L-series. In the meantime, they are available. The same can now be said about the low-power display, which we were allowed to test for the first time in the budget series in Lenovo's ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 AMD.
Enduring and upgradeable: The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 AMD is a very solid work device in the lower price range.
The ThinkPad L14 Gen 4 AMD is now customizable on Lenovo's official online store, with prices starting at $693.

6th – Lenovo ThinkPad E14 G5 (R7 7730U, Vega 8)
Lenovo has given its affordable office computer ThinkPad E14 an extensive update with the 5th generation, which now includes 16:10 displays in addition to completely new cases. In addition, the manufacturer has now dispensed with TN panels and even offers an optional higher-resolution screen with full sRGB coverage.
The ThinkPad E14 G5 offers customers a more modern chassis including a good 2.2K 16:10 display, but unfortunately also the inferior keyboard with 1.5 mm travel. The performance of the AMD processor is identical to the old G4 model, even though the data sheet states Ryzen 7000.
In the US, various configurations of ThinkPad E14 G5 are available on Lenovo's webstore, starting from $550.

7th – Lenovo ThinkPad E16 G1 (R7 7730U, Vega 8)
Lenovo is expanding its ThinkPad E series and is now also offering a larger 16-inch model. The new Lenovo ThinkPad E16 G1 relies on a familiar AMD Ryzen processor and a bright WQHD panel. In the end, the new ThinkPad E16 G1 is pretty much what you'd expect from a larger ThinkPad E14: There's a larger display and a keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad.
The ThinkPad E16 G1 AMD impresses with good system performance, long battery life, a large WQHD display and a good price-performance ratio.
Currently, Lenovo is listing some configurations of the Lenovo ThinkPad E16 G1 on its webstore, starting at $614.

8th – HP Pavilion Plus 14 (R7 7840U, 780M)
Last year's Core i7-12700H was already fast, but the switch to Zen 4 in the HP Pavilion Plus 14 has done wonders for battery life and efficiency without sacrificing performance. Together with the OLED display, fast integrated graphics and affordable price, the package that the Pavilion Plus 14 offers is an excellent choice for students and the vast majority of casual editors.
The current Pavilion Plus 14 presents itself as competent in all respects, especially with its Zen 4 CPU and 1,800p OLED display.
HP is now offering the Envy x360 15 in various configurations, with prices starting at US$500.

9th – Acer Aspire Vero 15 (i7-1355U, Xe G7 96EUs)
The Aspire Vero 15 eco-notebook from Acer not only surprises with a QHD webcam, long battery life and high performance, but also offers a robust and appealing design, good input devices and a bright, color-intensive display. In addition, the office laptop is not too loud and, if you choose the right model, the price is also right.
A recycled plastic casing is a good start for a sustainable eco-concept, but fundamental upgrade options are still missing.
Currently, a Core i5-1235U-powered variant of Acer Aspire Vero 15 is currently available for around $549 on Amazon US. The version with Intel i7-1195G7 costs $800.

10th - Huawei MateBook 14 (i5-1240P)
Huawei has updated the MateBook 14 and now offers an Intel 12th-gen processor in the very high-quality mid-range ultrabook with 2K resolution and touch display. The regular price of €1,100 is regularly reduced by up to €270, meaning that you can get this really high-quality model for just under €830 (~$905).
The Huawei MateBook 14 offers a high-quality and particularly affordable ultrabook that delivers solid performance and is a real value-for-money recommendation.
Huawei's devices are not available in North America.
