I was born into an English American family in Berlin and attended Primary School in England and Secondary School and University in Vienna. I was bilingual from an early age and left Europe to live in Australia, and subsequently New Zealand. My early career with IBM was followed by years running my own small IT business ventures. My passion for technology is more about the impact it has on human behaviour rather than the gadgets themselves. Understanding the latter well is a prerequisite.
