With a starting price of 250 Euros (~$298), the Lenovo Tab P11 is currently one of the cheapest Android tablets with an 11-inch display size. Nevertheless, it scores points in our test with its comprehensive features and only demands a few compromises from buyers.

If you look for an affordable Android tablet that is as up-to-date as possible in price comparison websites, the Lenovo Tab P11 is currently very high on the list of hits in the 11-inch class. The lowest-capacity variant with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage starts at about 250 Euros (~$298). You have to invest around 300 Euros (~$357) for the 4/128 GB version. The Lenovo tablet costs practically the same in the largest-capacity configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

The low entry price inevitably raises the question of trade-offs. Naturally, there are some, but the base configuration is pretty solid because Lenovo promotes the Tab P11 as a multimedia and family-friendly tablet - so versatility is a must. The hardware is also aimed precisely at this.

Four Dolby Atmos speakers, a special moder for kids, long battery life

The Tab P11 is powered by the Snapdragon 662, an octa-core SoC belonging to the lower mid-range; the tablet displays content on a 2000x1200 pixel IPS panel and has four Dolby Atmos certified speakers on board. The tablet can optionally be extended with a docking keyboard (around 100 Euros (~$119)), and you can also get a digital input pen in the form of the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 (around 60 Euros (~$71)). For family use, the Tab P11 comes with account management as well as a special children's mode that allows parents to set usage time, among other things.

Lenovo's 11-inch device also scores plus points for its long battery runtimes in the test - it should actually always have enough power for a full day of intensive use. However, you should not expect too much from the cameras, since the 13 MP main camera in particular is only good for taking snapshots at best. The GPS capabilities of the Tab P11 aren't very good, either - the tablet prefers to be used indoors.
