The AMD Athlon Neo X2 Dual-Core L335 is an entry level dual core processor for small and light subnotebooks. It features an integrated DDR2 memory controller and a 800 MHz clocked HyperTransport 3.0 link. The core is based on a mixture of the K8 and K10 microarchitecture and manufactured in 65nm.

Per clock, the Neo L335 is slower than a Core 2 Duo and therfore an a level with a 1.3 - 1.4 GHz Dual Core CULV by Intel (e.g Pentium SU4100). Still, the L335 uses on average more power due to the old architecture and manufacturing process.

The AMD Athlon Neo X2 L325 is a slow subnotebook processor based on a mixture of the K8 and K10 microarchitecture. It was manufactured in 65nm and offers an integrated DDR2 memory controller. One 800 MHz HyperTransport 3.0 Link (HT1600) connects the Athlon Neo to the chipset.

In combination with the HD 3200 chipset graphics, Athlon Neo X2 systems are faster than Atom based systems and offer the advantage of HD video decoding capabilities. The power consumption is however much higher.
