The AMD Turion II Neo Dual-Core K665 is a laptop processor for small and light subnotebooks. It is based on the Champlain core (K10 architecture) and should be similar to the desktop Athlon II line. The K665 offers an integrated DDR3 memory controller and a 1600 MHz 16 Bit HyperTransport 3.0 (HT3200) link.
The AMD Turion II Neo K625 is a laptop processor for small and thin subnotebooks. It is part of the Nile platform in conjunction with the AMD M880G chipset (Radeon HD 4225 on board graphics). Compared to the slower Athlon II and V Series CPUs, the Turion II offers a 128 Bit FPU and 1.6 GHz HyperTransport Link (compared to 64 Bit and 1 GHz). The integrated memory controller supports DDR3-1066 memory.
The performance of the CPU is compareable with 1.3-1.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processors (e.g., SU7300, SU9400). The power consumption of a Nile platform laptop (M301z) was higher than compareable SU based Intel systems. Still, the PCMark Vantage results were better.
