HP is having something of a pre-Black Friday sales event in which US$100 or more is taken off many up-to-date PCs from the Envy, Spectre or Omen laptop series. Examples include the Omen 17t and 15T Spectre x360. This promotion also includes HP Chromebooks, Envy desktops and photo printers.

HP's latest deal session involves its Chromebooks, as well as its high-end Envy and Spectre series of notebooks and convertibles. It also affects many Omen-series gaming PCs. For example, the GTX 1660, 9th-gen Intel Core i7-powered Omen 17t is priced at US$300 less, taking it down to $1199.99.

Alternatively, the Omen X 2S 15-inch model that has an 8GB RTX 2080 card and the i7-9750H is also in this sale, although it is $200 off (or $2499.99 rather than $2699.99). The Omen 880-150t PC is also now $999.99 rather than $1399.99. Those looking for more professional-looking computing could consider the 15t touch version of the Spectre x360 (with a GTX 1650 GPU): it is reduced by $400, making it $1199.99 at present.

The 8th-gen i7 version of the x360 13 also has the same discount; otherwise, most other Spectre deals here are about $200 off. These offers also include up to $250 off some Envy models and up to 28% off many Chromebooks from this OEM. Therefore, it may be something to think about for those who just can't wait for Black Friday this year.
