NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 vs NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 Ultra vs NVIDIA GeForce Go 6250

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600

► remove from comparison NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6600 is the mobile medium class of NVIDIA for notebooks. Its performance is good with normal current consumption. Games like Doom3 run fluently.

The PureVideo video engine supports the MPEG and WMV9 (also in HD) decoding of videos. > PureVideo Product Comparison

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 Ultra

► remove from comparison NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 Ultra

The mobile top video card of the 6000 series brought more desktop-comparable performance in notebooks. Nevertheless, it also has a considerable current consumption and heat development.
It is a higher clocked Geforce Go 6800 (not more pipelines!) and therefore faster and hotter, too. It was replaced by 7800 GTX and 7900 GTX.

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6250

► remove from comparison NVIDIA GeForce Go 6250

The NVIDIA GeForce Go 6250 is a low end laptop graphics card of the GeForce Go 6000 series. It is based on the 6200 and 6400 chip and offers a small amount of dedicated DDR graphics memory. Usually it is adverted with additional shared memory called TurboCache.

An advantage are the integrated PureVideo functions for decoding MPEG videos with the GPU (but not HD videos).

The performance of the 6250 is too weak for gamers. The power consumption should be relatively low, but not as low as integrated graphics cards offer.
