NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 vs NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200

► remove from comparison NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200

The NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 / 6250 / 6200 TE is the smallest version of the series 6 with own memory. It offers few own memory and fills the rest with main memory (called TurboCache). The video performance is sufficient only for not demanding or elder games, though many features are supported.

The heat development and the current consumption are low (but higher than with integrated graphics). For gamers too weak and for a office notebook too hungry for energy? In reality GeForce Go 6200 is somewhere between it.

The GeForce Go 6250 is a somewhat higher clocked version of the 6200.

The PureVideo functions enable the 6200 to accelerate the playback of MPEG videos (not in HD). > Comparison Table

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800

► remove from comparison NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800

NVIDIA GeForce Go 6800 is lower clocked than the 6800 Ultra video card for notebooks (and also cooler). The number of pixel pipelines and vertex pipelines is the same like in 6800 Ultra.

Currently the performance of the 6800 is only compareable to a 8600M GT middle class graphics card.

The PureVideo technology delivers acceleration for H.264, WMV, and MPEG2 videos (also in HD) but has a bit less features than the PureVideo engine in the 8600M GT. > Comparison
