MediaTek Dimensity 7200
► remove from comparison
The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 (Pro / Ultra) presented in Q1/2023 is an ARM-based SoC (system-on-a-chip) that is manufactured using the TSMC 4 nm process. It was specially designed for use in Android smartphones and is positioned in the mid-range in terms of performance. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 is positioned as a direct competitor to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
The MediaTek CPU works with a total of eight cores, which are divided into two clusters. The first cluster contains 2 ARM Cortex-A715 performance cores that operate at up to 2.8 GHz. The second cluster contains 6 ARM Cortex-A510 energy-saving cores with 2 GHz. LPDDR5 RAM can be used as RAM and UFS 3.1 is supported as internal memory.
he MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro and the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 are technically identical to the MediaTek Dimensity 7200. The name affixes are for marketing purposes only.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 supports all current mobile communication standards including dual 5G SA with a theoretical peak download speed of up to 4.7 GBit/s. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 are also supported.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 uses an Imagiq 765 image processor and a 14-bit HDR ISP to process the camera data and can control cameras with a resolution of up to 200 MP. Video recordings are supported with up to 4K at 30 fps.
The integrated graphics unit Arm Mali-G610 MC4 supports displays with a FullHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
