Casio’s April leaks preview a packed summer lineup, with the return of G-Lide, a new Hidden Shine series, artist collabs like Mooze’s GA-2100, and high-end Pro Trek lume dials. New models span fitness, anime-themed drops, and premium MT-G models.

April has turned out to be one of the busiest months for Casio leaks in recent memory. From all-new lineups to revamps of existing watches, the month has delivered an impressive spread of upcoming G-Shock models expected to launch over the next few weeks (in May) and into the summer. Here's everything we know so far.

Let’s start with the Black and Bold Red series. What began with a quiet leak of the DW-5600BBR-1 has now grown into a five-watch capsule, confirmed through new images and Instagram posts from collectors. Alongside the DW-5600BBR-1, the set includes the oversized GX-56BBR-1A, the round digital GA-700BBR-1A, the newer GD-0100BBR-1, and the popular "CasiOak" GA-B2100BBR-1A. All five share the same matte black resin build and red-accented displays. Given Casio’s track record with coordinated color themes - like the Neo Tokyo collection - this will almost certainly be a limited-run drop. And it looks quite sharp.

The MTG-B4000 is showing signs of being Casio’s most wearable MT-G watch yet. Leaked images have showcased two versions in the past - one in brushed steel and another with a bluish-gray tone - both with sleeker lugs and a more refined shape compared to the bulkier MTG-B3000. Inside, it’s expected to retain core features like Tough Solar charging, Multi-Band 6 radio sync, and Bluetooth support. June is looking like the likely release window for this one.

Then there’s the newly leaked "Hidden Shine" or "Hidden Glare" series, which includes four frosty white resin models with icy blue accents and dark LCDs. The watches include the GA-110HDS-7A, GA-2100HDS-7A, GA-700HDS-7A, and DW-6900HDS-7D. Visually, the collection dials back the intensity for a more winter-inspired look - matte white textures, subtle metallic blue details, and familiar watch shapes.

Possibly the most interesting news comes from the G-Steel side of things. A model tagged GST-B1000 was recently discovered in certification listings, making it the first G-Steel watch to use a four-digit number. This naming shift most likely means flagship ambitions, especially since Casio has reserved similar numbering for top-tier Mudmaster and Rangeman models. Unfortunately, while we haven’t seen images yet, there’s already buzz that this could be one of the biggest upgrades over the current GST lineup.

One of the more eye-catching summer drops is a fresh G-Lide variant dubbed the GBX-100S. These update the older surf-style GBX-100 with translucent skeleton shells and brushed stainless-steel bezels. Two models are confirmed so far: a blue split-band and a stealthier all-black version. Features like tide data, moon phase, and sunrise/sunset timing via Bluetooth are expected to return.

Speaking of seasonal releases, the Casio Surfrider Foundation G-5600UE is making a comeback after selling out fast in 2024. This year’s version is said to bring brighter "summer" colors, but will likely stick to recycled or eco-conscious resin, just like last time.

Meanwhile, Casio has quietly teased a G-Shock collaboration with Indian street artist Mooze. The upcoming GA-2100 collab features a black resin case with bold red graphics on the strap and dial. Based on the artwork shown, the theme seems to blend graffiti elements and tiger imagery, along with the phrase "Shock OK Please." It’s set to be revealed at G-Shock’s Connaught Place store in Delhi.

From Pro Trek’s camp, two full-lume dial watches are headed for Japan in May. The PRW-35LD-5 and PRW-35TLD-7 are part of a new “Lume Dial” series that combines LED backlighting with phosphorescent panels for extended glow. The 35TLD-7 gets the more premium treatment with titanium and sapphire materials, while the 35LD-5 features a black ion-plated bezel and resin strap. Both support pressure/temperature sensors, MultiBand 6, and Tough Solar charging.

More confirmed releases for May include the MTG-B2000YBD-2A, a sharp-looking premium model with a black/blue-gray ion-plated finish, the Casio AQ-S820 series, and the GBA-950 series, which builds on the older GBA-900 fitness line with an improved strap fit, new bezel structure, and standard Bluetooth-connected activity tracking.

And rounding things out, Casio is dropping two limited-edition anime collabs based on Haikyu!!. The GA-B2100-based designs feature team colors, custom straps, and packaging inspired by Karasuno and Nekoma. These are shaping up to be fast sellers, much like Casio’s past anime drops.

If April’s any indication, Casio’s gearing up for a packed summer.
