According to the talented automotive graphic designers, the previously shown Audi A6 e-tron prototype could receive some minor exterior changes before the sleek German EV will enter production and hit the market in 2024.

Although the current EV market is clearly dominated by spacious electric SUVs and pickup trucks such as the enormous and extremely expensive Hummer EV, more and more German carmakers are planning to electrify their lineup of classic luxury sedans. In addition to the already available BMW i4, Audi is diligently working on an all-electric model variant of its midsize sedan, which is scheduled to hit the market in 2024 in the form of the Audi A6 e-tron.

After the manufacturer has already officially shown an early prototype of the Audi A6 e-tron in the past, the Russian graphic designers at Kolesa have now taken on the challenge of transforming the concept car into an electric sedan that looks ready for production. The beautiful results can be seen in the render images which are embedded below. The most noticeable changes have been made to the front bumper of the Audi A6 e-tron, which could feature much smaller and less prominent air intakes than the concept car.

Furthermore, the large grille received some slight stylistic improvements, while the futuristic camera-based side mirrors have been replaced by more traditional mirrors. Last but not least, the rear of the Audi A6 e-tron prototype has been virtually equipped with more elegant taillights and a more subtle rear diffusor. As always, speculative render pictures like these should be taken with a grain of salt, since the final design of the Audi A6 e-tron may differ greatly from the original prototype.
