If you pay for an AMD Ryzen 7, the brand new Ryzen AI 7 345 offers less performance than a Ryzen 5 would. The latest AMD Ryzen 7 chip obviously only carries this designation for marketing reasons, and gives laptop buyers another reason to be careful with CPU designations.
