iPhone 5S to have a 128 GB version

Teaser
A new leak shows that Apple's upcoming iPhone 5S will also be available in a 128 GB variant. Both the iPhone 5S and the cheaper iPhone 5C are expected to be unveiled in September.

The iPhone 5S has been the topic of many rumors and leaks during this year, but most of them were only pieces of information without any solid proof to back them up. Now, sources from the Far East released a set of low quality photos that seems to confirm two iPhone 5S rumors: its name and the availability of a 128 GB version.

The images mentioned above show what is supposed to be the retail packaging of Apple's upcoming flagship handset, confirming its name. Previous rumors mentioned "iPhone 6" as an alternative. Now, it is almost certain that the new iPhones will be called 5S and 5C. One of the leaked shots also reveals the existence of a 128 GB variant of the handset, which is probably going to be the top version available.

In terms of connectivity, the iPhone 5S is expected to support the same networks as the CDMA iPhone 5 on sale at this time -  CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B, HSPA+/DC-HSDPA operating on 850/900/1900/2100MHz and 4G LTE on bands 1/3/5/13/25.

Regarding the release date, nothing is official yet, but the latest rumors confirm previous leaks once again - both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C will be unveiled in early September and are expected to go on sale before the end of the same month.
