iPad 3 release date revealed

Teaser
The next iPad might arrive in the market by the 24th of February, which is the birth Anniversary of Steve Jobs

With most of us waiting for the next iPad and predicting the possible dates about the release of the iPad 3, the anticipation seems to be over with a lot of reports declaring a date. This date has been reported by various media outlets and has suggested that Apple might be releasing their new iPad in the fourth week of February.

Some of the reports suggest that Apple has made up the mind about releasing the device on the birth anniversary of the late company founder Steve Jobs. According to PCMag the next iPad will be released on 24th February, the birth anniversary of the founder. The possibility also revolves as Apple unveils the tablet on the day and then release it on the market in early March.

There are also a few rumors that Apple may come up with a few up-gradations from the earlier model. These up-gradations may help the company to manage the pole position they acquire in the market. The rumors say they are including a powerful quad core A6 processor. According to Kevin Krewell a senior analyst, an A6 processor can be a direct competitor to the NVIDIA’s much touted Kal-El series. The A6 might even tip the scale towards it as its having a cost effective 28nm semiconductor technology as the Kal-El has 40nm semiconductor technology.

Another improvement which is being expected is the display. This model may have a Retina display and if it is integrated in the iPad3 it will have a 2048 x 1536 resolution display. Although some of the experts suggest this may not be required for iPad’s larger screen which is to be helped away from the screen definitely. An intermediate resolution as 1600x1200 will also appeal to the tablet users.

There is another certain feature to be included into the iPad is Cloud Computing. With iOS5 it can be easily integrated on the iPad3. This feature will help the users to access to a better storage and sharing of media not only in their device but also through cloud features.

As the iPhone4S is equipped with an 8MP camera so we may even expect something better or even same in the iPad3.
