iOS 5 comes with six useful Apple apps

Apple has come up with their latest iOS 5 and also revealed six new applications along with it. These new applications included in iOS 5 are released as Newsstand, Reminders, Find My Friends, Cards, iTunes Movie Trailers and AirPort Utility. Along with these new applications they have also introduced multitasking, AirPrint, Folders, Airplay, Game Center and email threading.

Newsstand

In this application Apple attempts to provide its users with a few publications, which can be subscribed and the links appears to be as a book on a newsstand. At launch, publications included are The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar UK, and Healths & Fitness Magazine. The magazines and newspapers can be downloaded from the Application store.

Remainders

This is the latest to do list application which syncs and backups with the iCloud for cross device list and list management. This application can also set a remainder with respect to location, like it will notify you with some of your listed reminder when you reach a location which you have set earlier.

Find my Friends

This application is mainly for tracking another person's location. With this application you can share your location with a friend if he requests to see your location- either permanently or temporarily. Parents can even use it to keep an eye on the mischievous kids.

Cards

Visiting a card store at the mall may be skipped with this new application, as design, print and ship the greeting cards can be done through this new application on your iOS device. In this app you can add in your photos, write messages in your wish, preview the inside and outside and envelopes of the cards you wish to send.

ITunes movie Trailers

This application sports an interface which provides you with the popular and exclusive trailers of the latest movies across different categories as well as genres. It also provides you with the information on showtimes at nearby theatres and a movie calendar.

Airport Utility

With this application the users can manage their Wi-Fi network and AirPort base stations- Express, Extreme and Time Capsule are all supported.

Among all these applications newsstand and remainder applications are installed automatically with the latest iOS 5 update while the other applications are available at the Apple’s Application Store.
