ZTE V55 Android Honeycomb tablet hits FCC

ZTE passes their latest V55 through the FCC

Earlier known for their OEM feature phones, ZTE has recently stepped forward to try their fate in the Android Tablet market. They have just passed one of their latest tablets, the V55, through the FCC. And from the Label picture of the leaked design of the device it seems to be heading for Sprint.

 Some of details about the features of this device are known till now, which says it to have a 10.1 inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800pixels of resolution. The device will be powered by Android Honeycomb and a 1.2GHz processor. Till now the version of the Honeycomb platform provided is unclear.

The V55 might be featuring LTE capabilities though with Sprint’s Version of the device it will be providing only 3G access to the Sprint Network, along with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The V55 was first spotted CTIA this year though their carrier partners were not revealed. The release date as well as the price for the device is still to be unveiled.
