Samsung Galaxy will now be provided to the First Class and Business Class passengers on American Airlines

If sky is the limit, Samsung Galaxy 10.1 has made it to the limit. In a recent announcement from Samsung it was said that the Galaxy 10.1 will be now available to American Airlines customers flying in the first class and business class cabins on transcontinental and overseas flights.

They have pointed out that the tablets, which are running on custom built software are in flight from New York’s JFK to Los Angeles and San Francisco. They will be also available on planes traveling from Miami to San Francisco and Los Angeles. International Flights which are bound for Europe and South America.

Earlier in June Samsung and American Airlines announced their partnership. According to them the passengers will be able to watch over 70 movies which even include 30 new releases. Access to music and television shows will also be made available in the tablet.

This service will start from the first quarter, and American Airlines will also bring in Wi-Fi, Games and e-Reader functionality to the tablets.

Altogether it has been a great week for the Aviation company as earlier they also received Federal Aviation Administration approval for pilots to use Apple iPad during flights. They will be using the device as electronic chart and digital flight manual readers.
