Xiaomi Redmi K60: Entry-level model passes through 3C as camera details leak
Xiaomi has certified the 23013RK75C with the 3C in China. Although the regulatory body has not revealed the device's marketing name, it is believed to be the Redmi K60. As the screenshot below shows, the 23013RK75C offers up to 67 W fast charging, mirroring the Redmi Note 12 Pro.
However, the Redmi K60 is rumoured to contain a larger battery than the Redmi Note 12 Pro. Specifically, earlier leaks suggested that the Redmi K60 has a 5,500 mAh battery, a 500 mAh larger capacity than the Redmi Note 12 Pro. As such, the Redmi K60 is likely to recharge more slowly than the Redmi Note 12 Pro, but the added capacity gives it the potential to deliver 10% longer battery life.
Meanwhile, Digital Chat Station has expanded upon their previous expectations for the cameras in the Redmi K60 series. While the leaker previously claimed that Xiaomi would offer 48 MP sensors with OIS in the Redmi K60 series, they now believe that a 64 MP sensor will be present instead, still with OIS. Allegedly, the Redmi K60 Pro will launch with a 50 MP primary camera, also supported by OIS. For reference, the Redmi K60 series is expected to rely on the Dimensity 8200, a weaker version of the new Dimensity 9200 chipset that MediaTek announced earlier today.
