Xiaomi Mi 5 specs leak

According to a new report, Xiaomi is planning to launch its Mi5 smartphone in November. The leak also includes quite detailed, albeit still alleged, specifications of the new handset.

The Xiaomi Mi5 is apparently codenamed Libra. It’s supposed to feature a 5.3-inch display with 2K (2560x1440) resolution. Under the hood we’ll find the yet unreleased Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, supported by 4 GB of RAM. The built-in flash memory will allow users to store 16, 32 or 64 GB of data and the 3030 mAh battery should be enough for a full day of operation.

As per photo functions, the new smartphone is reportedly going to sport a 16 MP main camera as well as a 6 MP selfie snapper on the front. Security-savvy users will be happy to see a fingerprint scanner on the device. Xiaomi Mi5 will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The exact launch date and pricing are yet to be unveiled
