Currently Microsoft’s Windows 7 holds only 1.5 percent of the global market share, which may increase with the release of the Windows 8

Recently a surprising news has been revealed as the Windows 7 tablets share about 1.5 percent of the Global tablet market. This estimation is released by Strategy Analysis through the Supersite for Windows.

They have even claimed that the number of the devices sold has been raised to about 400,000 units as reported by the fourth quarter of 2011. They also have claimed that Apple’s iPad now controls about 58 percent of the tablet market. Whereas Android tablets have about 39 percent of the market shares although a lot of manufacturers are using Google’s Android as their Operating System.

As we know, soon Windows 8 will be arriving in the global markets and a lot of manufacturers are expected to use the New Windows version. And after its arrival the scene of the global market might change a lot as it is anticipated by a lot of Tablet makers as well as consumers.
