Windows 10 April 2018 Update coming next week
Since the most valuable resource that everyone has access to is time, Microsoft has decided to help Windows 10 users to save as many precious moments as possible. Thanks to the new features included in the upcoming Windows 10 April 2018 Update, Microsoft promises to give us "not necessarily time to do more, but time to do what we love."
According to the official blog post about the update that has been published by Yusuf Mehdi yesterday, these are the highlights of the Windows 10 April 2018 Update:
- Timeline for going back to the content opened in the last 30 days, including cross-platform support for iOS, Android, and Windows 10
- Focus Assist for blocking distractions like emails, updates, and various notifications (social media apps included, of course)
- a full-screen distraction-free reading experience in Microsoft Edge, as well as Grammar Tools, clutter-free printing, and autofill on online payment forms
- improved Dictation features
In addition to the above, the Windows 10 April 2018 Update also sports smart home management from a PC, new ways to create with Windows Mixed Reality and Photos, simplified IT management tools for the enterprise sector, and more.
The official blog post mentioned above also reveals that this update will be available as a free download starting next Monday, on April 30. Until then, there is enough time to take a closer look at the videos showing the new Windows 10 capabilities below. As usual, your comments are welcome.
