ViewSonic may soon reveal 7-inch Tegra 2 tablet

Teaser
The rumored ViewPad 7x may make its debut later this month at the Computex expo

According to “reliable sources” from Pocket-lint, manufacturer and provider of visual technology ViewSonic is set to introduce a 7-inch tablet at the Computex expo later this month in Taiwan.

Rumored as the ViewPad 7x, the tablet will supposedly run Google Honeycomb at launch. However, whether or not the tablet will support the recently released Android 3.1 is currently unknown. Otherwise, the only known details about the 7-inch ViewSonic tablet are the inclusion of a Tegra 2 processor, front and rear cameras, 3G connectivity, DLNA support for media sharing, and HDMI-out port.

In the larger 10-inch category, ViewSonic currently offers the dual-boot ViewPad 10 and the upcoming ViewPad 10pro.

Pricing and release dates of the ViewPad 7x could possibly be announced during its likely reveal at Computex.
