Vector smartwatches promise one month of battery life
While most smartwatches offer at least a few days of autonomy, Apple's first such wearable, although available in luxury editions that cost way above $10,000 USD, needs to be charged on a daily basis. For those who do not want to think about the battery life of their smartwatch, Vector comes up with a new family that promises up to 30 days of battery life on a single charge.
While the new Vector smartwatches can pair with iOS, Android, as well as Windows Phone handsets, they do not display any kind of messages. Notifications are only done via vibrations, while the always-on monochrome displays feature customizable analog and digital watch faces.
The Vector Luna and Vector Meridian smartwatches feature accelerometer and gyro, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, and both are water-resistant up to 165 feet. All three available variants have forged stainless steel bodies, with black nylon or brown leather straps (Meridian is only available with the black nylon strap).
The Limited Edition Luna and Meridian Vector smartwatches currently up for pre-order start at $199 USD and come with free shipping.
