Clevo W110ER a gaming laptop from Sager is introduced recently at a price for $899. This laptop has an 11.6 inch display, Intel Ivy Bridge processor and NVIDIA Kepler graphics card. It is regarded as one of the powerful computers in the 11.6 inch category. It is also said that this laptop will be specially made for the gamers.
Clevo is a PC manufacturer company from Taiwan. It is known that many companies like Maingear and Origin are slapping their labels on the laptop and introducing it in the Western countries. Maingear is selling these laptops for $1099 and above while Origin has started their price range from $999.
So Sager is now coming with laptops that will be starting at $899 hoping to beat both the companies.
This new Clevo laptop is named Sager NP6110. This 11.6 inch model will have a display of 1366 x 768 pixels, an Intel Core i5-2540M processor, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M graphics, 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 500GB 7200 RPM hard drive. The OS is Windows 7 Home Premium and has 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.
Along with these features it also has HDMI output, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a 1.3MP camera. The size of the laptop is 11.3” x 8.2” x 1.5” and weighs around 4 pounds (1.814 kilograms) which is quite heavy for a laptop of its size.
The premium models will come with a Core i7 processor, 16 GB of RAM and a larger hard drive, a solid state disk, or hybrid storage which will come up with a hard drive with a solid state disk.
This may be regarded as one of the best ultraportable gaming laptops. But a serious drawback is the battery life of the notebooks. Now we have to just wait and watch how it will take on their rivals and what will be the response of the customers.
