Unknown ZTE V55 tablet appears in leaked Sprint document
Leaked snapshots from company databases aren’t anything new, but they do give a pre-emptive heads up on upcoming devices before they are even announced.
A leaked Sprint spreadsheet courtesy of BriefMobile.com has indicated a new tablet with the alias ZTE V55 and SKU ZTESV55TAB. Exactly who is manufacturing the tablet is still unknown, let alone its specifications or size. The spreadsheet does, however, specify a Q1 2012 release.
It’s safe to assume that the tablet will support 3G or even 4G connectivity, since the Sprint network was first to launch a WiMAX-enabled phone here in the United States.
If the ZTE V55 is landing early next year, we expect more details on the tablet to come before the end of 2011.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
