Today Toshiba announced the release of two new netbooks from their product line. The NB500 and NB550D, which were announced a couple weeks ago at CES, are now both officially available in Australia. For others worldwide only the NB500 seems to be available at the Toshiba Online Store.
Both devices feature a 10.1 Inch Screen and a 6-cell battery (with a reported 8-hour life). While the NB500 runs on a single-core Intel Atom N455, the NB550D is based on the AMD Fusion. Also included in the 550D are Harmon Kardon Speakers, an HDMI Port, and a an ATI 6250 graphics card.
Toshiba also announced that they will be releasing a new Qosmio Gaming laptop on Monday, January 24th. While details should be available along with its release, all that is known so far is that the new notebook should retail around a whopping 4000 Dollars.
