Teaser
The pre-ordering of quad-core tablet starts in the United Kingdom. But only the 32GB tablet will be available for ordering which will soon be upgraded to Android 4.0

Putting an end to the trend of mass confusions about the release dates of popular devices, the only Wi-fi enabled Asus has asserted that it will start accepting the pre-orders made for the Eee pad transformer Prime from the 17th December in the United Kingdom.

The United Kingdom fans can now reserve the transformer prime using the popular retailers like PC World, Carphone, Warehouse, HMV or Currys. The users can even go for ebuyers and Tesco direct which will serve as an online source of booking the tablet. For now, only the 32GB model has been released which will be accompanied by a keyboard dock, together costing $449. Shipments for these have been scheduled for January 2012.

For justifying the price tag of £449, the company asserted that tablet running on a quad core includes the keyboard dock as well, which gives the users a chance to start thinking of it all over again.

The accompanying model Eee Pad Transformer has been declared to hit the market with a value of £299 for the 16GB and £349 for the 32GB. Anticipators are thought to be delighted to know that the tablet will be ensured an update to the newest version of Android 4.0 (popularly known as Ice Cream Sandwich) in the first week of January 2012. Also, users looking for a 16GB model followed by the keyboard dock will have to giveaway £399 for the device.
