A great laptop for the home office, with high-speed Wi-Fi and ample performance. Toshiba's Satellite range targets consumers with strong build quality and usability at affordable prices. The L450-136 offers impressive performance, mobility and software at a price that won't break the bank. Although its large size restricts the L450 to the most basic mobility, excellent battery life, strong performance and great connectivity make it an excellent laptop for the home or office.

Toshiba: Toshiba Corporation is a Japanese conglomerate or technology group. The company was established in 1939 and in 1978 Toshiba became the official company name. The company's products and services include power, industrial and social infrastructure systems, elevators and escalators, electronic components, semiconductors, hard drives, printers, batteries, lighting, logistics and information technology. Toshiba was one of the largest manufacturers of personal computers, consumer electronics, home appliances and medical equipment.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) 4500M: The graphics core of the Intel GL40 and GS40 chipset features a slower clocked GMA 4500MHD (400 versus 533 MHz). Because of the slower core speed, full Blu-Ray Logo support is not given and the gaming performance is a bit worse.
ATI Radeon HD 3100: Slower clocked Radeon HD 3200 onboard graphic chip with a reduced feature set (missing HD video decoding features?). Beware: Under Windows XP the HD 3200 may have no 2D acceleration because of a driver problem.

Intel Celeron M: It is a Pentium M with halved level 2 Cache and limited on FSB 400. The characteristic of this processor is the speed, which is hardly slower than an equivalent Pentium M. However it can change the speed not dynamically like the Pentium M and therefore needs without load more current.
It is also available as Low Voltage Version with very small current consumption.
900: Single core processor based on the Penryn core but many advanced features are deactivated. Due to the missing Speedstep, the CPU may lead to a lower battery runtime.
AMD Athlon X2:
QL-65: Similar to the Turion X2 CPU, but with reduced power saving functions (no deep sleep, only 2 instead of 3 P-states). Compareable to a 1.3-2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo (depending on the application).

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
60%: Such a poor rating is rare. There are only a few notebooks that were rated even worse. The rating websites do not give a purchase recommendation here.
