Conducting an online search will often result in serious prices for this laptop. The average price of the Toshiba Satellite L30-11 D Celeron M440 Laptop is around 600 pounds which may be a steep price for many. However, considering the purchase of such a laptop as an investment that will last for many years is a great way to justify the price of the computer. Being without a computer in today’s day and age can be done but it is not really suggested. With all of the new technologies that bombard us every day, there is no denying that there is a need for a computer. The Toshiba Satellite L30-11D Celeron M440 Laptop is indeed the great investment.

As far as 2-in-1 products go, Toshiba’s Satellite L30W is too much tablet. Its 13.3in size and its 1.12kg weight make it an awkward tablet to use, and we’ll admit to not wanting to use it as such during our test period — it simply wasn’t alluring in that way. Instead, we used it as a notebook primarily, though even in this guise the product felt bulky.

Toshiba Satellite L30W-B-10D
The Toshiba Satellite L30W-B-10D is another tablet/laptop hybrid. Its design is smart and functional with brush metal finish on aluminum. The hinges attaching the tablet to the keyboard dock are solidly constructed and seamless. The hardware consists of an Intel Pentium N3530 processor with Intel Burst Technology 2.0 clocked at 2.16 GHz, 4 GB DDR3L 1600MHz RAM, Intel HD Graphics and a 500 GB hard disk. The Toshiba Satellite L30W-B-10D uses a Toshiba TruBrite HD TFT High Brightness LED display with POS technology.
The entertainment playback quality is very good and the device is able to perform everyday tasks with relative ease. Other interfaces are micro-HDMI-out, 1 USB 3.0 port on the dock, 1 USB 2.0 port on the tablet, HD webcam, and a SD card slot. Sound quality is pretty decent with Onkyo stereo speakers with DTS Sound and audio enhancement tuned by Skullcandy. The keyboard on the dock consists of 87 key. The entire system including dock weighs in at 2.1 kg. Battery life is good with a 3-cell Lithium-ion pack capable of powering the Toshiba Satellite L30W-B-10D for around 8 hours.

If you are looking for versatility the Click 2 isn’t a bad choice if you want a hybrid device. It has a great screen for the money and its performance was adequate enough to perform most tasks. If tablet functionality isn’t important to you, the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 has better performance and marginally better battery life.

The latest Toshiba hybrid is a visual and ergonomic improvement over the last generation, which means it’s easier to use, but it remains thicker and heavier than the competition. Its good screen and build quality are hampered by its low-end components, poor keyboard and mediocre battery life. The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 11 has more going for it – including a better price.

Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L35W-B3204
The Toshiba Satellite Click 2 is a tablet/laptop hybrid that features a tablet with removable keyboard design much like the Microsoft Surface's and Asus T100's. Powered by the quad core 2.16 GHz Intel Pentium processor N3530 with 4 GB of RAM, it does not lack in performance. It has a 13 inch display screen is a 10-point multi touch screen with basic 1366 x 768 resolution, which means that the screen is not as sharp as most screens of the same size. The integrated Intel HD Graphics allows running basic processes and games with ease.
It weighs a comfortable 2.2 kg when attached to the keyboard dock and 1 kg when not attached. The docking keyboard has a flimsy-feeling hinge that wobbles slightly when docked. The tablet part of the Click 2 makes about half of its entire weight, so it does not balance too well on its own. The docking keyboard houses a single USB 3.0 port and that's it. Most of the connections are on the tablet itself including a micro HDMI-out port, an SD card reader, a USB 2.0 port and a headset jack.
Thanks to the power efficient processor, the Click 2 lasts about 8 hours of videos. The tablet features a 500 GB hard drive and should be suitable for those looking for tablet/laptop hybrid with larger screen.

Our likes outnumber our dislikes when it comes to the Toshiba Satellite Click 2: It makes few compromises in laptop mode, and it offers good build quality, screen quality, and speakers, along with a solid keyboard and touch pad and respectable battery life. On the minus side, its performance is sufficient for routine tasks only, its screen resolution is low, and we wish the lid didn't wobble so much when attached.

The Toshiba Satellite Click 2 L35W-B3204 sits in between the small, 10-inch, Atom-equipped tablets and the laptop-grade convertible hybrid laptops that cost twice as much. There's definitely a gulf between the small low-powered systems and the expensive laptops, but it's a tough one to fill, and the Click 2 winds up feeling more like an awkward interloper than a natural bridging of the gap. It also makes it tough to categorize, but even when stacked against the Asus Transformer Book T100TA, it comes up wanting. The size and design of the Click 2 is fairly clunky, and the 13-inch tablet is too big for convenience and too heavy for portability. As result, the Asus T100TA remains our Editors' Choice for entry-level detachable Windows tablets with its lower price and mobile design.

A 13.3-inch tablet just isn't my cup of tea, nor am I a fan of bulky laptops. Still, the Click 2 is an okay computer. Its performance and battery life are good for its price range, and its screen is bright and responsive (it just doesn’t have very many pixels). The keyboard dock, on the other hand, is awkward and mistypes often enough to be annoying. I would highly recommend heading out to a store to see and feel the Click 2 for yourself.
