The Toshiba Excite X10 is up for pre orders on a Canadian website which also mentions this device to be arriving by 29th of February

The upcoming Excite X10 from Toshiba might be on its way to the market as it appears on the Future Shop website in Canada for pre orders. According to the website the product will be arriving to the market on 29th of February.

This new tablet is powered by Android 3.2 or HoneyComb and much like its predecessors it will also be having two variants one of 16GB storage while the other will have 32GB. This model does not have many upgrades as compared to the earlier devices. It seems a pretty2011 tablet, with its specifications and features.

It has a 10inch display capable of providing a resolution of 1280x800 pixels. It sports a 1.2 GHz processor, 2MP front camera and a 5MP rear camera. With all the devices with multiple core processor and which runs on Ice Cream Sandwich this model might not excite most of the consumers.

This model is also priced at $550 for the 16GB model and $600 for the 32GB variant. Even these prices seem to be quite high if we compare it with the other tablets like the Sony Tablet S or the Eee Pad Transformer which are much more powerful and also cost much less than the Excite X10.
