The new HP G-series now comes with AMD goodness

HP recently brought out the consumer class G-series G4, G6 and G7 with only Intel as processor options. But good news for the AMD fans as Laptoping reports that now the series is available with AMD processor as well. All the previously Intel-only models viz. G4, G6 and G7 now have preconfigured variants called g4-1015dx, g6-1a60us, and g7-1075dx – all with dual-core AMD CPU and AMD Radeon 4250 integrated graphics chip.

The AMD models are priced at almost similar to what the Intel models are, but expect a better graphics performance thanks to the integrated Radeon 4250 card. Apart from that there is not much difference between the Intel and AMD models. All of these models are AMD vision-branded.
