The iPad has 91% penetration in IT and business

According to a recent release from the IDG the research firm, Apple’s tablet are used by 91 percent of IT and business personals. However, only a quarter of the devices had also been supplied for corporate use. They have taken the survey at a global level for examining in the business world.
It also has been revealed that the business personals also use the device in the same use as the other consumers which is mostly media consumption, but the business person's need to use these devices much more frequently.
Among these personals 54 percent of them use the device at home while about 79 percent always have their iPads with them and use even on roads.
In addition to that, about 12 percent of the iPad users said that their notebooks are completely replaced by the iPads, 6 percent are saying it has supplemented their Desktops, but 72 percent said that they are using notebooks along with the iPad. Another 83 percent of the corporate users also described themselves as loyal to Apple’s devices.
The editor at IDG Connect International, Kathryn Cave said that their research shows the tablet becoming a true work device as provided by users and employers and used in the office for business communication.
