Samsung's newest laptop is its first with an S Pen. Available in 13.3- and 15-inch models, the Notebook 9 Pro starts at $1,099.

Samsung's Notebook 9 Pro debuted at Computex a few weeks ago, and now its available for purchase. The Notebook 9 Pro works like a regular laptop but can also fold back on itself to turn into a tablet. A run-of-the-mill feature for convertibles, of course, but the addition of a built-in S Pen helps it stand out among its competitors.

The S Pen should be perfect for writing, taking notes, and especially drawing due to its 4,000 levels of pressure and ability to detect when its tilted, allowing for distinct shading effects. In addition, it is fully compatible with Windows Ink, which means that the stylus works across Windows 10 in general.

The Notebook 9 Pro comes in two sizes: 13.3 and 15 inches. Both models use an Intel Core i7-7500U processor and feature a 256 GB SSD. The 13.3-inch model comes with 8 GB of RAM but the larger model includes twice that amount, or 16 GB. Due to its larger size, the 15-inch Notebook 9 Pro also comes with an AMD Radeon 540 GPU for discrete graphics processing.

Other Notebook 9 Pro features include a Windows Hello webcam, HDMI port, 2 USB 3.0 ports, and a micro SD card slot. The micro SD slot can be used to expand the Notebook 9 Pro's storage capacity.

Samsung's new notebook can be purchased at retail stores, or online from Best Buy. The 13.3-inch model sells for $1,099 while the 15-inch Notebook 9 Pro costs $1,299. Both notebooks are available in a single color, Titan Silver.
