The NUC V6-i5 offers an Intel Core i5-7200U processor, M.2 storage, DDR4 SO DIMM RAM, and a built-in LCD screen. The machine measures 118 x 118 x 78 mm and features plenty of I/O, including two video outputs and four USB ports.

There are many mini-PCs on the market, but few feature a built-in display like the NUC V6-i5 from Emini does. The LCD screen could be used to operate the NUC V6-i5, although it also has mini DisplayPort and HDMI 1.4 connections.

An Intel Core i5-7200U powers the NUC V6-i5, which will not set the world alight. Nonetheless, the dual-core processor can boost to 3.1 GHz on a 15 W TDP, making it more powerful than many other Intel-based mini-PCs.

Additionally, the 118 x 118 x 78 mm machine has two SO DIMM slots that support up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and an M.2 slot for an SSD. Moreover, the NUC V6-i5 supports socketed Wi-Fi and has built-in LAN, along with three USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a USB Type-C connection.

The fun does not stop with the display, either. Emini has also adorned the top of the NUC V6-i5 with a circular ring that can display seven colours. The NUC V6-i5 is sold in two colours, but the silver model is the easier of the two to source currently.

The machine starts at US$416.86 on AliExpress with no RAM, storage or Wi-Fi. The price rises to US$658.16 for 32 GB of RAM, a 256 GB SSD and Wi-Fi, but you could probably save yourself some money by purchasing these parts separately.
