According to an invite posted online today, Lenovo is announcing something on June 27. Looking at the image on the invite, the device is likely the Moto Z2.

It’s been a busy month for Motorola. With the global release of the Moto Z2 Play and the announcement of the E4 and E4 Plus, June has been all about Moto. But the Lenovo-owned brand may be saving the best for last.

A recent invite posted online from Lenovo shows an image of a woman holding what appears the be the Moto Z2. At least, it’s a smartphone that looks a lot like renders and images of the Z2 that were recently leaked. The invite is dated for June 27 at 7 o’clock PM. The words “Motorola is back” hint that the event is likely to unveil a follow-up phone of some type. Considering that Lenovo is rumored to announce the upcoming X4 on June 30th, that leaves the Z2, Z2 Force, or both.

Either way, Lenovo and Motorola have a hectic few weeks ahead of them. This invite marks the third event in the back half of June. The other two, slotted for June 21st and June 30th, may also bring other device announcements. The Moto brand has long been all about user choice. Users may have more choices than ever before by the time July rolls around.
